High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe is fastly becoming the drainage pipe of choice where cost is the major concern. Manufactured in 20' lengths, it is very lightweight and easy to handle. And when proper care is taken during installation, it provides a long lasting, durable storm sewer. Corrugated HDPE pipe is manufactured to specific dimensions with a dual-wall extrusion to create a hydraulically smooth interior (Manning’s “n” = 0.013). Specifications for HDPE Drainage Pipe should include provisions for appropriate resin quality and joint tightness.
