PVC pipe has made strong inroads into the drainage market over the past decade, primarily due to larger diameter manufacturing capabilities. With roots in high demand water and sewer applications, Corrugated PVC Pipe is often considered the “Cadillac” of storm sewer products. It has the best hydraulics and tightest joints, coupled with high durability, light weight, and long laying lengths. All this comes at a higher material price, but is often competitive to RCP pipe due to faster/easier installation.
